Japanese superstar and p4p player, Naoya Inoue, defends all the belts at super bantamweight on September 3rd against Irish born former champion TJ Doheny. Inoue hopes to extend his 8 fight KO streak and show out for his adoring fans. Doheny plans to extend a streak of his own, he has gone 4-0 while fighting in Japan and has defeated every Japanese boxer put in front of him, as the betting underdog no-less.
Ismael Barroso is also featured on the card against undefeated Andy Hiraoka. Barroso will be the underdog, as is usually the case, but for Barroso it’s just another chance to show that the odds have no bearing on what he accomplishes in the ring. Hiraoka has knocked out the last 9 opponents he’s faced and it’s very likely he is shooting for his 10th.
