Amanda Serrano received criticism from her fellow female boxing champions after she shared a video seemingly dismantling her sparring partner.
Serrano (46-2 30KO) landed a devastating straight-left hand to the body of her sparring partner who collapsed and struggled to catch her breath.
The Unified Featherweight Champion posted her video on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption “Power shouldn’t be Seen Just Felt! And in others Heard..”

Following the post, Skye Nicolson (9-0 1KO) made a tweet of her own addressing Serrano’s video.
“Imagine being an accomplished world champion “empowering women and pushing for equality and change” flexing a sparring video dropping a girl who looks like she’s never laced up a pair of gloves before,” She tweeted
Nicolson has previously called Serrano out as she is the interim WBC Featherweight Champion, while Serrano holds 4 other major Featherweight Championships (IBO, IBF, WBO, WBA).
Shortly after, Undisputed Super Featherweight Champion Alycia Baumgardner also responded saying “Uncalled for!”

Boxer typically follow a moral code that discourages sharing sparring footage as it doesn’t accurately depict how they may fight each other. Serrano assured a fan in the comments that she would “never put it up if her face was visible.”
